In celebration of the Inupiaq Language, the Inupiaq History, Language and Culture (IHLC) has created an Inupiaq media contest called “Inupiatun.” Deadline for submissions is November 15, 2019.

Subject: Kiita School Closed Today at 1pm: This is a message from Kiita Learning Community School: Kiita School will be closed today at 1pm, October 2, due to the water lines turned off for four hours this afternoon. Kiita Students will move to CO2, Room 5, at 12:30pm for remainder of today, Oct 2, 2019. School buses will remain on schedule, 2:30 pm release.
